We understand how our experimental data is used in fitting material models, and how it feeds into
finite element (FE) material cards, therefore we offer services on different levels
-
Level-1: Experiments (Dedicated Testing Packages in Support of FEA): Experimental packages
optimized specifically to provide
the customers the high quality data they need for their internal FE Material Card calibration
and development.
(Hardening/Plasticity, Fracture/Stress-triaxiality, Rate Sensitivity, Kinematic Hardening).
-
Level-2: Data Analysis (Calibration & Development of FE Material Cards): Providing the customers
with ready-to-use FE
Material Cards for commercial solvers (Forming, GISSMO Fracture including Rate Effects in Crash
Events, Springback, etc).
-
Level-3: FE Simulations & Validation (FEA and Experimental Validation on a Component Level):
Capacity to run full component
forming and crash simulations, and validation with reference to actual component response, or
even developing lab-scale experimental
validation runs. Moreover, we offer direct mapping of plastic strains from DIC experimental data
to FE simulations output!
